When you buy a high quality knife, you can expect to learn about the steel used in its construction. Borrowing that practice, let us introduce you to Schoeller® c_change™. Waterproof. Windproof. Breathable. 4 way stretch. Easy care. And with all that, it's still incredibly lightweight. That’s our ‘steel,’ to which we added: a double slide front zip, articulated elbows, three zippered pockets, set-in sleeves, drawcords for collar and hem, hook and loop cuff closures, paneled sides (no side seams), microfleece neck lining, a media port, and reflectivity. To our way of thinking… a ‘proper’ jacket. We’re proud of it. Imported. 135GM polyamide/polyurethane/elastane fabric. S to XXL. Regular fit, designed to accommodate a baselayer and/or light midlayer.

c-change™ is a smart membrane technology that actually reacts to different temperatures and activities. As soon as greater moisture is produced from higher temperatures or increased body heat, the membrane structure opens and allows excess heat and water vapor to escape to the outside. As soon as the body produces less heat energy, and consequently less moisture, the membrane structure contracts again. Windproof and waterproof performance is maintained throughout the process.
With a temperature increase from around 50F to 70F, for example, c_change™ increases water vapor permeability (breathability) by 50%.
Seam sealed, waterproof to 20,000mm.
The drape and feel of this fabric is hard to describe; let’s just say it’s exceptional.
