Performance-oriented, fitted, long-sleeved henley designed for serious aerobic activities. The ultrafine 17.25 micron wool blend fabric is woven with plaited yarn, which puts the wool next to your skin where it absorbs moisture and helps manage odor, then transfers it to the polyester face where it disperses. Bottom line: more comfort. Mesh under arms, top of sleeves, and center back provides additional ventilation. Reflective logo at hem. Weight is 9.3 oz. 170GM polyester/Merino wool fabric. Features
  • We recommend the following guidelines for best fit results:
  • If you are size
  • Small - order S/M
  • Medium - order M/L
  • Large - order XL/XXL
  • Extra Large and above - we recommend choosing a different style.
  • 3 QÔR button front.
  • 55% polyester/45% Merino wool seamless plaited knit fabric.
  • “Plaited” meaning that the fibers are separated, placing the Merino wool next to your skin, and the polyester on the face for durability and moisture dispersion.
  • 17.25 is the fiber size - the width of the fiber measured in microns. The smaller the better. Many Merino baselayers on the market today are 18.9 microns. The difference between 18.9 and 17.25 is noticeable, to say the least. And for a point of reference, fine cashmere fibers start at about 16 microns.
  • 170GM refers to fabric weight and is expressed in grams/square meter (GM2) of fabric. Outside temperatures and activity level will influence your choice of weights. 195GM and lower, worn alone or as a baselayer, are about right from late spring through early fall. 150GM would be great on a hot summer day. Weights above 200GM might be more appropriate from late fall through early spring, when you might use them as a baselayer, but they’d more likely be midlayers (sweaters), or even outerwear.
  • Merino ‘works.’ The Merino absorbs moisture vapor from your skin - up to 30% of its weight before it even begins to feel wet. Pulling moisture off your skin gives you a cooling sensation when it’s warm and a warming sensation when it’s cold (we are not making this up). And that same moisture-absorbing property also fights odor because the bacteria that cause it don’t do so well without moisture.
  • Merino comes from sheep, so when it’s woven into fabric it may contain slight natural variations in texture.
  • UPF 30+
